Following the addition of a second tanker to the managed fleet, the Tanker Management and Self Assessment (TMSA 3) framework has been implemented across our tanker operations.
Self-assessment was completed against all thirteen elements, with stage 3 or above achieved on eleven, including management leadership, recruitment and management of shore staff, vessel reliability and maintenance, and incident investigation. Improvement plans with named owners and target dates are in place for the remaining two elements.
The framework is now integrated into our existing ISM and ISO management system rather than maintained as a separate document set.
